SIX!!!

I told her she wasn't aloud to get any bigger--but she went ahead and turned SIX anyway!! We had a really fun day! Started off with new frogs and a fish...

Followed by her favorite waffles with whipped cream and sprinkles...

Next we started in on some presents--a bug/explorer set and some fun exploring with little brother...

A visit from Grandma Ward and Uncle Nate (and a fun card making set! sorry the pic is sideways)...

That evening--a great party at the pool with friends and family! Lots of games, jumping off the diving board, cupcakes, and presents...

We were lucky that Sophia's Aunt Lacey, Tyler, Conner, and Dustin happened to be in town for the party and the night...so good to see our cousins who live far away now!!!!

Visit to Grandma's house! (and Grandpa, of course!)

We had a great trip! We went to the zoo (on a very hot day--oh well, it made for a lot less people!) and just had a great day playing with Ryan, Justin, Grandma, and Grandpa. We set up the tent in the backyard and had fun all week in that great thing! Lots of water games, slip-n-sliding, working in the garden, scooters, movies, and FUN!

Wedding!!

Wissa and Jonathan are married!! 

We have a new uncle/brother-in-law! Melissa was the most beautiful bride and we had a great day with them--at the temple and celebrating! Sophia and her cousins have been looking forward to this day and being FLOWER GIRLS for MONTHS! They had so much fun at the party and Brynn danced all night! Ethan had a hard time at first (due to being forced to wear church clothes on a non-church day!) but warmed up to the fun quickly. Plus, Jonathan's family is wonderful and we had a great time getting to know them better! These pictures do not do the party justice--I really wish I was a better photographer!

Uncle J.J. is Home!

Justin got home from his mission in Taiwan yesterday! Laura and I got the whole family to wear their running clothes so we could "look the part" when Jay crossed the finish line.

 

 

We also have had a lot of fun playing outside with our good friends Jill, Jacob, and Titan.

It will be fun to have both Ryan and Justin living so close in Provo this fall!

Sophia's Last Day of Kindergarten

Sophia had a busy, fun last month of school! Kindy 500, walking field trips, eating lunch in the cafeteria, even 10 inches of snow one morning for a final snowman and sledding run of the season! We finished off this last year with the much anticipated dance festival and field day! I would put some video up, but it's not working of course. But, everyone did a great job and had a lot of fun. The girls in kindergarten did the "fire dance" and the boys even did the Haka! Mom got to come help at field day and we had a good time. Now we are ready for a fun and busy summer!!!

Birthday Boy!!

We had a busy, fun day for our little guy's 4th birthday!

We decorated and surprised him with a new bike in the morning!

We went to the dinosaur museum and made a HUGE dinosaur cake! The volcano was supposed to smoke, but the dry ice melted too fast!

Then Aunt Bev took the whole family to Chuck-E-Cheese (really for her birthday!!) for more fun, pizza, games, and dinosaur cake! He had a great day!

After her REALly awesome goal!! Mom was like totally embarassing and stuff--yelling and screaming--so sorry, there's no video of the great pass up the field from her teammate and kick in the goal by Sophia!!!
