The funny thing was that at the pre-marathon dinner the night before when people would stop and talk to Mom, Dad, and I, they would assume I was the one running rather than my "old" parents! Ha ha. Sorry Mom and Dad. Little did those people know they were talking to VETERANS at this whole marathon thing in Mom and Dad!
Sorry I didn't get a picture of Dad too, we saw him as I was driving up the road but I couldn't take a picture and drive! Then he finished before we found a parking spot and while it was still raining--I guess we were fair weather fans--sorry Dad, but I was thinking of Grandma Fisher!
The proud Mom/Grandma/Great-Grandma cheering them on!

They did great! Mom qualified for Boston and Dad would just like a few lousy seconds of a 4 hour race back!
We had a fun time in Hyrum/Logan staying with Aunt Jayne and Anita and seeing the cousins. And we even went back and found mom's glasses at mile marker 9!

Your parents are amazing! I finally completed my first half marathon. It started out as a goal of an eight mile run, and then I decided in the middle of it that I'd go ten, and after I made that decision, I had not choice but to go the whole 13.1...what's a few more miles at that point anyway??? I must say I HURT today...hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to walk up and down the stairs without pain! It makes me feel old!
Way to go mom and dad Stewart! They are machines!
Hey, when do I get to be on your blog roll?? ;)
