We had such a fun 5th birthday party for Ethan! Uncle Nate and Grandma Stewart even came into town for the big event (along with all the other big events that happen at the end of school!). I had a lot of help from all our family and friends--and I needed it with the 21 kids that came! Our neighbor drove them all in his Dino-ranger trailer out to our dig site. Amazingly, the kids found 100 little dinosaurs, an assortment of other bones (we're not sure which dinosaur they came from!), and even a giant T-Rex bone! Then we blew up volcanoes (diet coke and mentos) inside a volcano shell before they all made their own little volcanoes with baking soda and vinegar. Then we rode back to the house, played a dinosaur game with a 4 foot dino, silly string, and cardboard dino feet and water balloons! We dined on dino chicken nuggets, chips, and carrots, followed by presents, and ice cream cone cupcakes with otter pops! It was quite the event! They all got dino masks and other stuff in their party bags and we sent them home!!
T-Rex bone!!!
He better not ever forget that one!!! We love you Ethan!!
